Introducing
SkyDancer 1200: a moving beam searchlight designed to enhance
a promotional event or a lighting effect — or to effectively pinpoint
a location. Capable of producing beams visible for miles around, SkyDancer
searchlights are designed and built for high performance with reliable
components which have been field tested for many years. The SkyDancer’s
design lets the beams move in striking circular or "clover-leaf"
patterns.
SkyDancer
1200 searchlights are complete operating units incorporating lamp head
with motion assembly, power supply, cooling fans and control panel. Collimated
beams are produced by a precision metal reflector (parabolic) and a metal
halide short arc lamp. Beam adjustments are available for focus and beam
shape. SkyDancer 1200 searchlights can be installed permanently or mounted
on trailers equipped with generators for short-term use.
SkyDancer
1200 offers the significant advantage of operating off half the input
power of a 4-headed 2KW Xenon unit, yet provides comparable light beam
intensity. Each individual searchlight requires about 15 amperes at 115VAC
single phase (60 amperes total). SkyDancer’s base houses 4 magnetic
ballasts.
These
reliable units each weigh about 80 pounds less than a DC power supply
for a 2 KW Xenon. The Sky Dancer 1200 is available for 208VAC, single
phase power input. The SkyDancer 1200 measures 5’x 5’x 6’
and weighs about
950 lbs.
